Scarborough Fire Station welcomes Ukrainian families to an engagement event

Scarborough Fire Station welcomes Ukrainian families to an engagement event raising awareness of the services North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service offers.

From local engagement firefighters have had with local families, many are now in a position to leave their host homes, predominantly moving into privately rented accommodation.

This is an ideal time for firefighters to speak with households around fire prevention safety in the home.

The morning will take place at Scarborough Fire Station, North Marine Road, Scarborough, YO12 7EY on Friday, 14 April, between 3pm and 5pm.

Literature will be available on the day in Ukrainian.
