PFCC Names preferred candidate

Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Julia Mulligan has named Andrew Brodie as her preferred candidate for Chief Fire Officer for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Following a rigorous selection process, Andrew will now be put forward to the Police, Fire and Crime Panel on the 18th July for their confirmation.
Andrew has been acting as interim Chief Fire Officer for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service since January 2019. Prior to that he was Assistant Chief Fire Officer at Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
