Incident Summary Nightshift 13th May

`Incident Summary –Night shift –Monday 13th May

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred:

Acomb, York

Time of call: 1743

Acomb crew assisted paramedics with the transporting of a female patient from the first floor of a residential property to an ambulance.

Colburn

Time of call: 1744

Richmond attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential address, this was a false alarm caused by an aerosol can.

Scarborough

Time of call: 1810

Scarborough crew assisted an elderly male who collapsed outside the fire station. Crews administered first aid and oxygen and then handed the patient over to paramedics.

Brayton, Selby

Time of call: 1909

Selby crews were mobilised to a grill fire at a public house. The fire was out on arrival and caused damage to the grill only. Crews carried out an inspection and gave advice to on site staff. The cause of the fire was due to an accumulation of fat.

Ashburn Road, Scarborough

Time of call: 1910

Scarborough attended an automatic fire alarm at a university building, this was a false alarm caused by system fault.

Germany Lane, York

Time of call: 2053

York extinguished a rubbish fire measuring 1m x 1m using buckets of water. The cause of the fire was deliberate.

Scarcroft Road, York

Time of call: 2325

York extinguished a rubbish fire measuring 1m x 1m in a children play park using a backpack sprayer. The cause of the fire was deliberate.

Grosvenor Road, Scarborough

Time of call: 2344

Crews from Scarborough and Filey responded to reports of a grill pan being left on in a flat. Crews gained access to property and confirmed no grill had been left on.

Wiggington Road, York

Time of call: 0052

York attended an automatic fire alarm at a factory, this was a false alarm caused by burnt food processing.
