Incident Summary –Nightshift Tuesday 6th August 2019

Richmond

 

TOC: 1819

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to fumes from cooking.

 

 

 

Northallerton

 

TOC: 1911

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a car fire. Crews extinguished using 2 hose reels and 4 breathing apparatus. Cause is believed to have been deliberate.

 

 

 

Northallerton

 

TOC: 1933

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire in a rear garden. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning with occupant in attendance.

 

 

 

 

 

Scarborough

 

TOC: 1941

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a smell of burning from outside a property. This was a false alarm due to faulty electric doors.

 

 

 

Osmotherley

 

TOC: 1949

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire in a wooded area. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning under supervision.

 

 

 

Hawes

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to a maliciously activated break glass callpoint.

 

 

 

Harrogate

Crew were mobilised to assist a person trapped in a bed hoist. Crews used manpower to assist.

 

 

 

York

 

TOC: 2036

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of smoke from the rear of a property. This was a large amount of rubbish on fire in the back garden. Extinguished using 1 hose reel.

 

 

 

Over Dinsdale

 

TOC: 2120

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of hay bales on fire in a field. On arrival this was a fire involving a stubble field and one bale of hay. Crews used 1 hose reel to extinguish fire.

 

 

 

Scarborough

 

TOC: 2131

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a smell of burning in a premises. On arrival this was a false alarm due to a confused resident.

 

 

 

Pickering

 

TOC: 2210

 

A fire crew from Pickering attended reports of a water coming the ceiling of a property from an upstairs flat. On arrival crews managed to find the cause of the leak and assisted to help clean up the water.

 

 

 

Riccall

 

TOC: 0211

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a wood shed on fire. This was a building approx. 30 by 15 metres with wood chippings inside, well alight. Incident currently ongoing.

 

 

 

Scarborough

 

TOC: 0431

 

Crews were mobilised to assist Ambulance with moving a casualty to the Ambulance. Crews used manpower to assist. Left in hands of Ambulance crews.

 

 

 

Harrogate

 

TOC: 0440

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a property. This was a false alarm due to fumes from cooking.

 

 

 

Whitby

 

TOC: 0456

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to a system fault.

 

 

 

Gilling West

 

TOC: 0610

 

Crew were mobilised to a report of a car fire. Fire was out on arrival, crews damped down with 1 hose reel.
