Incident Summary – Day Shift – 12th May 2019

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred:

 

Street off Church Street, Whitby

Time of call: 08:53

A crew from Whitby were called to a fire in the open which they extinguished using a hose reel jet.

 Easingwold

Time of call 12:00

Crews from Acomb and York along with an Officer were called to an automatic fire alarm sounding in a residential property with no response from the occupant. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

 

Carleton Road, Skipton

Time of call: 16:20

A crew from Skipton were called to an automatic fire alarm. This was a false alarm believed to be caused by a fault on the system. Whilst on scene crews assisted with an elderly lady who had fallen and waited her with her until an ambulance arrived.
