Incident Summary Night Shift Thursday 13th February 2020

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 

 

 

Scarborough – Time of call 18:46

 

Crews from Scarborough gained access to a residential property to assist a female trapped inside. Crews gained entry using crewpower only.

 

York – Time of call 19:05

 

Crews responded to calls of a fire seen the garden of a residential property. This was a false alarm due to a controlled burn under supervision.

 

Ulleskelf – Time of call 19:32

 

Crews from Tadcaster responded to a car trapped in flood water, crews rescued one male from the car using level 2 water rescue equipment.

 

Northallerton – Time of call 20:23

 

Crews from Northallerton released a female who was trapped in a hydraulic lift. Crews release the female uninjured using crewpower.

 

York – Time of call 20:30

 

Crews from Huntington responded to a bin fire outside a commercial property, they extinguished using 1 hose reel.

 

York – Time of call 02:05

 

Crews from York and Acomb responded to a motorcycle on fire outside a residential property. Crews extinguished using knapsack sprayers and buckets of water.

 

Crews from Harrogate and York also responded to automatic alarm activations across the county, these were false alarms.
