Incident Summary Wednesday 12th June Night Shift

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages where incidents have occurred.

Time 1659    Location: West Lane, Stillington

A Fire Officer attended a farm vehicle leaking hydraulic oil onto a road, the officer inspected the road and handed the incident over to the Police.

Time 2031    Location: Queen Street, Scarborough

A Scarborough crew released 1 person from a lift car after the lift became stuck. Hand tools were used.

Time 06:03    Location: Hall Lane, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate after assisted home owner locate a water leak after they discovered flooding within their kitchen. Crews used manpower only to investigate and stem leak.

Time 06:26    Location: Queen Street, Scarborough

A Scarborough crew released 1 person from a lift car after the lift became stuck. Lift keys and manpower was used.

In addition to the above incidents our crews attended automatic fire alarm activations in Harrogate, Skipton (2), Knaresborough (2), Huntington, Selby, Northallerton and Scarborough.  All were false alarms.
