Incident Summary Night Shift Wednesday 9th January 2019

10th January 2019

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 Ainderby Road, Northallerton Time of call: 17:28

A crew from Northallerton were called to a female that had fallen inside her property. Crews used small tools to gain access and left her in the care of her family.

 Near to Barff Lane, Brayton Time of call: 17:54

A crew from Selby were called to a female who had become locked outside of her property, with her 21 month old child locked inside. Crews gained entry using a lock snapper

Near to Seamer Road, Scarborough Time of call: 19:53

A crew from Scarborough were called to controlled burning that had been left unattended. Crews extinguished this using a  hose reel jet.

Sutton on the Forest Time of call: 20:27

A crew from Easingwold were called to a vehicle on fire. This was a car that had been involved in a road traffic collision earlier on in the evening, that had set alight whilst being removed by a vehicle recovery operative. The crews used two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish this.

We also attended Automatic Fire Alarm activations in York, Masham, Selby and Thorpe Underwood . These were false alarms.
