Incident Summary Sunday 10th March Night Shift

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages where incidents have occurred.

Time 1732    Location: High Stakesby area, Whitby

Fat caught fire in an oven and caused fire damage to the oven and contents only. The fire was out on arrival of our crews. Whitby crew inspected, removed the cooker and gave advice to the occupants.

Time 2004    Location: Near Staithes

Lythe crew dealt with a chimney fire by accessing the chimney from both the hearth and the roof. Chimney kit and ladders used.

In addition to the above incidents our crews attended automatic fire alarm activations in Scarborough, Skipton and Acomb.  All were false alarms.
