Incident Summary Night Shift 8th September 2019

Harrogate

Time of call 18:22

Crew from attended a report of an alarm sounding at a residential property. On arrival this was found to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

Sutton-in-Craven

Time of call 18:39

Crew were mobilised to a report of a Loadall on fire. On arrival vehicle was well alight, and suffered 100% damage believed to have been due to an electrical fault. Crews extinguished using 2 hose reels.

ScarboroughTime of call 19:33

Crew were requested to assist Ambulance crews in gaining access to a premises where a person had fallen and suffered a head injury. Crews gained access and left in hands of paramedics.

Knottingley

Time of call 22:11

Crew were mobilised to a report of a car fire on a track. On arrival this was a small fire in a field, controlled burning, extinguished by fire service crews using 1 hose reel.

A1 near Wetherby

Time of call 22:58

Police received a call stating that smoke had been seen from the motorway. Fire service attended and made a thorough search of the area, but no fire or smoke could be found.

Church Fenton

Time of call 23:49

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. Crew made a thorough external investigation as no entry could be gained. This was a false alarm, cause unknown.

Crew were mobilised to a report of a cooker left on in a flat. Access was gained and no cooker had been left on.

Crew were requested to assist Ambulance crews with moving a casualty from an upstairs property to the ambulance. Casualty was left in the hands of paramedics.

 Barton

Time of call 06:07

 Crews attended a report of a farm building on fire. On arrival this was found to be a controlled burn.
