Incident Summary Night Shift – Monday 24th February 2020

 

 

 

 

 

Time: 18:19

 

Location: York

 

 

 

Crew from Acomb responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a commercial premises, this was a false alarm caused by deliberate activation of a call point.

 

 

 

Time: 19:41

 

Location: York

 

 

 

Crew from York responded to a report of a male stuck in a bathroom. Crews used small tools to release the male unharmed.

 

 

 

Time: 20:12

 

Location: Whitby

 

 

 

Crew from Whitby responded to a report of a flag pole that had partially come out of the ground and was hanging over the road, pavement and a park car. Crews used a 9m ladder to remove the flag pole.

 

 

 

Time: 21:07

 

Location: York

 

 

 

Crews from Huntington and York responded to a report of a bin that had been set on fire outside a property. Crews extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet. The fire was believed to have been started deliberately.

Location: York

 

 

 

Crew from York responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a residential premises, this was a false alarm believed to be caused by a system fault.
