Incident Summary Night Shift 21st August 2019

York

Time of call 18:17

A crew from Tadcaster attended a report of an alarm sounding at a commercial property. On arrival this was found to be a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.

Ripon

Time of call 19:43

A crew from Ripon attended reports of an alarm sounding in an industrial premises which on arrival was found to be a false alarm cause by dust in the detector.

Harrogate

Time of call 20:32

A crew from Harrogate attended reports of an alarm sounding in a residential property. On arrival this was found to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

Thirsk

Time of call 20:35

A crew from Thirsk have attended a report of a hay bale on fire in a field. The fire, believed to have been started deliberately, caused 100% damage to a small stack of bales. Crews used pitch forks and 1HRJ to extinguish the fire.

Acomb

Time of call 21:28

An officer attended a single vehicle RTC involving 1 Citroen car that had rolled and been righted by members of the public. 2 casualties were treated by ambulance crews and taken to hospital 

Skipton

Time of call 22:38

A crew from Skipton have attended a report of an alarm sounding in a commercial property. On arrival this was found to be a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.

Ripon

Time of call 02:21

A crew from Ripon have attended a report of an alarm sounding at a commercial property. On arrival this was found to be a false alarm.

Scarborough

Time of call 03:09

A crew from Scarborough have attended an alarm sounding at a residential property which was found to be a faulty smoke alarm. Crews fitted a new battery operated alarm for the occupier.

 Scarborough

Time of call 04:39

Crews from Scarborough and Filey have attended a fire to some beach huts. The cause of this fire is believed to be deliberate. Crews used 1 HRJ and 2 BA to extinguish the fire.
