Time of Call: 08:17

Location: Skipton

Crew from Skipton responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes. Advice was given.

Location: Acomb

Crew from Acomb responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a residential property. On arrival crews found that this was due to a pan being left unattended on the hob. Crews ventilated the property due smoke logging.

Location: Colburn

Crews from Richmond, Colburn, Northallerton, Leyburn, Masham and the Argocat from Kirkbymoorside responded to a report of a fire. On arrival crews found multiple seats of fire within tree cuttings and brash measuring approximately 1000sqm.

Location: Whitby

Crews from Whitby and Lythe responded to a report of a chip pan fire in a commercial property. On arrival crews found a fire to a small section of a chip pan that had been extinguished by a member of staff prior to their arrival. The fire was confined to the oil vats of the chip pan resulting in light smoke damage.

Location: Harrogate

Crew from Harrogate responded to a report of a boiler leaking water inside a residential property. Crews isolated the water to the boiler.

Location: Ripon

Crew from Ripon responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.

Location: Malton

Crew from Malton responded to a report of an alarm sounding at a residential property, this was a false alarm the cause of which was unknown.

Location: York

Crews from York and Selby responded to a report of a washing machine on fire in a residential property. The fire was out on arrival believed to have been caused by an electrical problem. Crews gave advice to the occupant.

 

Time of Call: 15:55

Location: Scarborough

Crew from Scarborough responded to a report of a fire seen in the open. On arrival crews found this to be a controlled burn that had spread to a gauze bush. Crews extinguished the fire and dampened down the area.
