Crews from Selby have ventilated a property that contained smoke from a log burner. This was believed due to a faulty log burner resulting in a small fire in the burner itself. Crews extinguished using a hearth kit, thermal imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation fan.

 

 

 

Great Langton, Northallerton

Crews from Northallerton have attended an automatic fire alarm which was a false alarm due to insects.

 

 

 

Huntington

Stokesley attended an automatic fire alarm at a commercial premises. This turned out to be a false alarm due to a faulty detector.

2 crews from Ripon were mobilised to reports of heavy smoke logging in a domestic property. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet to ventilate the property with the smoke being caused by clothes left on a radiator. Crews also administered oxygen to one occupant of the property.
