Time: 18:54 

Location: High Bentham, Lancaster 

Crews from Bentham and neighbouring brigade Hornby responded to reports of an electric fire in the kitchen of a residential premises. The crews found the electrical fire to be out on arrival and monitored the incident until the arrival of an electrical engineer.

Location: Harrogate 

Crews from Harrogate responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a public assembly premises. This resulted in a false alarm due to dust entering the detector head.

Location: Knavesmire Wood, York 

Our Acomb crew responded to reports of a male stuck up a tree. The crews managed to rescue the unharmed male using a triple extension ladder.

Location: Thirkill Drive, Pannal 

Crews from Harrogate responded to reports of a fire in the open near a derelict building. The crews extinguished the fire using a bucket of water, thermal imaging camera and a triple extension ladder. The cause was deliberate and the incident was left with the police.

Location: Stamford Bridge, York 

Our York crew responded to reports of an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial premises. This resulted in a false alarm due to a system fault.

Our York crew responded to reports of an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial premises. This resulted in a false alarm due to a system fault.
