Incident Summary – Night Shift Wednesday 1st July 2020
In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred:
A fire crew from Huntington were called out to reports of a fire burning at the rear of a property. On arrival the crews found the owner to be in attendance and the fire under control, crews gave advice to the owner and left the incident with the property owner.
A fire crew from Robin Hoods Bay attended a car where the electrics had failed and had trapped the driver of the vehicle inside. Crews were able to access the vehicle from the outside doors and let the driver out of the car.
A fire crew from Skipton attended reports of a cow stuck in the canal. On arrival the farmer had managed to get the cow out of the canal to safety. No action was taken by the fire service.
A fire crew from Selby attended reports of a fire at the rear of a property, on arrival the property owner had already extinguished the fire. Crews gave advice to the property owner and no further action was required from the fire service.
