Incident Summary – DAY Shift - Monday, 29th June
In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred:
Location: River Ouse, Queen’s Staith, York
York crew came to the assistance of a male whose canoe was unstable due to it being lashed to another which had been effected by rising water levels in York.
One male, aged in his 50s, assisted to dry land by firecrew using scaffolding board from the bankside
Location: Wheatfield Lane, Haxby, York
Huntington crew responded to a fire alarm activation which was found to have been caused due to workmen working on the system.
Location: Broughton, Skipton
Huntington crew responded to a fire alarm activation which was found to have been caused due to dust from workmen.
Location: Meadow Way, Huntington, York
Huntington crew responded to a fire alarm activation in a domestic premises which was found to have been caused due to dust in a detector.
Location: North Marine Road, Scarborough
Scarborough crew responded to a fire alarm activation in a shop which was found to have been a false alarm.
