Automatic Fire Alarm –Hopper Hill Road, Eastfield, Scarborough

 

Time of call: 0913

 

Scarborough attended an automatic fire alarm at a commercial premises, this was a false alarm caused by a fault on system.

 

 

 

Lift Rescue – John Terry Grove, York

 

Time of call: 1053

 

Huntington were mobilised to a lift rescue at a residential address, crews used lift keys to open the doors as a 60 year old male was stuck inside.

 

 

 

Lift Rescue – Monks Cross Drive, Huntington, York

 

Time of call: 1131

 

York performed a lift rescue, crews used lift keys and chocks to open the doors as a 5 people were stuck In a supermarket lift.

 

 

 

Van Fire – Chop Gate

 

Time of call: 1208

 

Northallerton appliance extinguished a small fire in the engine compartment of a Ford Transit using a hose reel jet. The cause of the fire was unknown.

 

 

 

Lift Rescue – Bobbies Bank, Whitby

 

Time of call: 1241

 

Whitby attended a lift rescue using crew power only to release 2 adults and a child who were stuck in a lift. Crews gave advice to on site staff.

 

 

 

Chimney Fire – Thorpe, Skipton

 

Time of call: 1327

 

Grassington extinguished a chimney fire at a residential address. Crews used 1 hose reel jet, hearth kit, small tools and a salvage sheet at this incident. The cause of the fire was due to an accumulation of soot.

 

 

 

Automatic Fire Alarm – The Shambles, York

 

Time of call: 1429

 

York attended an automatic fire alarm at a retail premises, this was a false alarm caused by a fault on system.

 

 

 

Automatic Fire Alarm –Duchy Road, Harrogate

 

Time of call: 1435

 

Harrogate attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential address. This was a false alarm triggered by workmen on site.

 

 

 

Automatic Fire Alarm – Dalton

 

Time of call: 1458

 

Thirsk attended an automatic fire alarm at a commercial premises, this was a false alarm caused by dust.

 

 

 

Automatic Fire Alarm – Mistral Court, York

 

Time of call: 1553

 

York attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential address, this was a false alarm caused by accidental activation by staff.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bus Fire – Moor Lane, York

 

Time of call: 1618

 

Acomb and York attended a fire in the engine compartment of a bus. All persons were safe and out of the vehicle. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus & 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
