Incident bulletin Nightshift 10 June 2019

10th June 2019

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Whitby – Time of call 16:58

A crew from Whitby attended a report of a fire in an oven, this was over cooked food and caused damage to the food only, a carbon dioxide extinguisher was used prior to arrival to extinguish the fire and crews used a positive pressure fan to ventilate the property.

York – Time if call 18:05

A crew from York attended a report of a fire alarm sounding, following inspection this was found to be a false alarm due to insects in the detector head.

Thirsk– Time of call 18:49

A crew from Thirsk attended a report of a fire alarm sounding, following inspection this was found to be a false alarm due steam 

Castleton nr Danby – Time of call 19:12

A crew from Stokesley attended a report of a fire alarm sounding, following inspection this was found to be a false alarm due to an unknown cause.

Selby – Time of call 19:23

Crews from Selby responded to an automatic alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to unknown cause.

Harrogate – Time of call 02:17, 10/06/2019

Crew from Harrogate responded to an automatic alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.
