09:01 Kanvesmire Wood, York

A crew from Acomb attended a small fire in the woods. They used a backpack sprayer.

10:01 Oriel Crescent, Scarbrough

Two crews from Scarborough including the aerial ladder platform along with a crew from Filey attended a chimney fire in a 3 storey property. The cause is believed to have been a bird's nest falling into the chimney. The aerial ladder platform and a hose reel were used along with a thermal imaging camera. 

10:02 Bank Lane between Egton and Lealholm- false alarm good intent- controlled burning

12:18 Broughton Way, York- false alarm good intent

A crew from York and one from Huntington attended reports of concerns that a washing machine was overheating. Crews carried out an inspection and used a thermal imaging camera, no signs of fire or heat detected. Advice given to contact the manufacturer.

13:01 Meadow Lane, Northallerton

A crew from Northallerton attended a fire to rubbish that had been piled against a fence. A neighbour used a hose pipe to extinguish the fire prior to the arrival of the fire crew. The crew used a hose reel to dampen down.

14:45 Skipton- false alarm 

16:14 York

A crew from York use crew power to lift a person from a bath. They were left with their carer.
