Incident Summary 25th Feb Day Shift

25th February 2021

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

08:34 Holme on Swale

A number of crews attended a fire to an agricultural shed approx 10x60m in size. The shed was hosuing calves and the farmer was able to move them all unharmed from the shed, they had also used three extinguishers on the fire prior to fire crews arrival. The fire was contained to one end of the shed and fire crews used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. The fire is believed to have been caused by a pressure washer.

14:10 Rougier Street, York

A crew were flagged down after a vehicle hit two pedestrians who were crossing a road. Crews provided first aid with paramedics. Both pedestrians are believed to have suffered minor injuries only.

17:02 Osborne Gardens, Harrogate *incident on-goin*

Crews are currently in attendance at a fire in a property involving a pan left on a stove. Crews have turned the stove off and are using postive pressure ventilation fan to ventilate the property.
