Incident Summary 22nd Feb Day

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

06:22 North Rigton

Crews from Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon along with the water bowser from Boroughbridge attended a fire to a detached outbuilding measuring approx 15x10m. The building consisted of 6 compartments all of which were effected by fire, heat and smoke damage. Two compartments were also effected by structural ddamage. Two hose reels, breathing apparatus, ceiling hooks, thermal imaging camera and small tools used The cause is believed to be batteries left charging overnight.

08:31 Ripon- false alarm caused by a water leak from a shower into a detector

08:34 Killinghall

An officer attended a late fire call involving an electrical insultation box, possibly caused by water egress into the box. There was minor damage to the electrical insulation and advice was given.

09:15 North Cowton

Crews attended an eletricity pole on fire in a field. The fire was out on the arrival of crews, who stood by before handing th incident over to Northern Power Grid

A crew assisted ambulance crews to gain entry to a property

A crew gained entry for ambulance crews
