A crew attended a strong smell of gas in a property. Crews isolated gas supply and informed gas board.

10:01 Harrogate- false alarm damaged break glass point

10:15 Melmerby- false alarm fault on system

11:06 Brafferton- false alarm good intent- overheated brakes mistaken for fire

11:14 York- false alarm due to testing the system

11:19 Thresfield, Skipton

A crew attended an incident where an elderly person was not respondng to cleaners trying to gain access to the property. Crews were able to gain access and found the elderly person,. Crews checked them over and gave oxygen therapy. He was left in the care of paremdics

11:52 Wayne Tarbard Close, Ripon

The RSPCA requested a crew assist with a cat in a tree. Crews attempted to rescue the cat using a 10.5m ladder but the cat made it's way higher up the tree. The aerial ladder platform attended and crews were able to rescue the cat which was left in the care of the RSPCA

14:59 Skipton

A crew assisted the move a person from a first floor bedroom to the ground floor

16:32 Foxwood Lane, York

Crews attended a fire caused by food left unattended in the oven. It was out on arrival of crews, having caused 100% fire damage to the food. No action was taken by the crews.

17:37 Mill Lane, York

Crews attended reports of fire in the area. They carried out a search but no fire found

18:08 Harrogate- False alarm good intent steam from boiler 

19:14 Harrogate- false alarm good intent- controlled burning

19:44 Scarborough- false alarm caused by system fault

22:02 Scarborough- false alarm caused by system fault

22:04 Clifton Bridge, York

Crews attended an incident whereby a person was at risk of entering the water. Crews assisted the person back over railings over no other action required by fire service.

02:06 York- false alarm caused by a fauty detector. A new smoke alarm was fitted by crews

06:26 North Rigton *Incident Ongoing*

Crews are in attendance at an outbuilding on fire. Hose reel jets are in use to fight the fire and an additional fire engine has been requested to supply water.
