17:31 Foss Islands Road, York
A crew attended a fire involving an external air conditioning unit on a commerical building. The fire had been extinguished by staff from the building, using a water extinguisher prior to the arrival of the fire crew.
18:37 Linwith Lane, Carlton, Selby
One crew attended a fire to a number of items that had been fly tipped. They used lighting and two hose reel jets. The cause is believed to be deliberate.
19:27 Wooler Street, Scarborough
A crew attended an incident where young adults were lighting cigarettes and throwing them into the main doorway of a building. The smoke from the cigarettes was then entering the interorior of the building. The incident was passed to the police and no action was taken by the fire crew.
21:54 Barton Le Street, Malton
One crew attended a chimney fire. The fire was confined to the chimney and crews used a chimney kit and a thermal imaging camera. The cause is believed to be an accumulation of soot.
