Incident Summary 11th January Night Shift

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

20:28 York- false alarm due to steam

21:56 Lodge Lane, Danby

A crew attened an incident  where a vehicle had driven into flood water. The driver had attempted to reverse out and then had slid off the road into a hedge. Crews used a vehicle mounted winch to pull the vehicle out of the water and hedge. The vehicle suffered no damage and the occupants were able to carry on with their journey.

22:13 John Breckon Road, Westerdale, Whitby

A number of crews attended an incident where a car had become trapped under a bridge due to high water levels in a ford.Crews carried out a search for occupants but it's believed the car was empty. The incident was left with the police.

00:18 Monkton Road, York

A crew attended an abandoned motorcycle on fire, which they extinguished using a dry powder extinguisher.
