Incident Summary 8 April Night Shift

9th April 2021

19:31 A61, Bishop Monkton

A crew from Ripon attended a fire in a car park, the fire consisted of building materials which were 100% fire damaged. The cause is believed deliberate. One hose reel jet used

20:29 Knavesmire Wood, York

A crew from Acomb attended two bonfires in the woods. One under supervision and one left unattended, extinguished using backpack sprayer. Crews also gave advice.

20:33 Acomb Wood Drive, York

A crew from York attended a small bonfire, they turned it over to extinguish it.

21:39 Coppice Close, Harrogate- false alarm good intent- controlled burning under supervision

21:46 Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough were requested to assist ambulance crews gain entry to a property. On the fire crew's arrival the ambulance crew had already gained entry. No action taken.

22:17 Carnforth- false alarm

22:41 Ripon- false alarm

22:42 York- false alarm

00:45 Skipton

A crew from Skipton attended an incident where a person had fallen on to the floor. On fire crew's arrival the person had managed to get themselves into a chair. The crew requested an ambulance attend to check the person over.
