Incident Summary 7 April Night Shift

16:21 St Margarets Gardens, Knaresborough

A crew from Knaresborough attended an incident where water was leaking into kitchen of property. Crews isplated the water supply and left the inicdent in the hands of the occupier who was waiting for a plumber.

17:08 A64 Eastfield

A crew from Scarborough attended a fire to rubbish at the side of the road. One hose reel jet used

19:13 York- false alarm good intent- small fire in open under supervision

19:31 Whitby- false alarm good intent- controlled burning under supervision

19:54 Kirkgate Ripon

Two crews from Ripon attended an incident involving a mattress on fire in a covered alleyway. The fire caused 100% fire damage to the mattress and breached the alleryway ceiling causing smoke and minor fire damage to the property above (a boiler room). The cause is believed to be a dropped light. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, thermal imaging camera, tools and lighting.

A crew from York attended a campfire left unattended. Crews extinguished it using beaters and soil.

A crew from Leyburn assisted paramedics with moving a pateint from first floor of a proeprty into an ambulance.
