Crews assisted ambulance crews gain entry to a property for ambulance crews

A crew assisted Police gain entry to a property as they had welfare concerns for the occupant

18:44 A64 East

Crews from Tadcatser attended a single vehicle road traffic collision where a car had collided with a tree. The driver was released from the vehicle prior to the arrival of fire crews. No action taken by fire service

19:54 Millfield Lane, Nether Poppleton

Crews from Acomb and Huntington including the aerial ladder platform attended a fire to a derlict bunglaow undergoing construction work. It is believed some young people had gained access to the property and ripped some wooden plinth from the kitchen and set it alight on top of worktop. This caused some moderate fire damage to the worktop and tiles behind it and slight smoke damage to the remainder of the property. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus sets, one hose reel jet, tools and thermal imaging camera
