0912  Harrogate

Crews from Harrogate responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding in a private property.   This was a false alarm due to carers testing the alarm.

1049  York 

Crews from York responded to three people stuck in a lift within a shop.  All three persons released using lift keys.

1116  Acomb

Crews from Acomb removed a ring from a lady’s finger who had self presented at Acomb Fire Station.   Crews used the ring removal tool.

1308  Constable Burton, Leyburn 

Crews from Leyburn responded to a conifer hedge on fire.  The hedge was extinguished using two hose reel jets.

1325  Hunmanby 

Crews from Scarborough responded to reports of smoke sighted in the area. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning.

1513  York 

Crews responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding in a property, this was a false alarm due to steam from an iron.

1517  Thirsk 

Crews responded to smoke issuing from a van, this was a false alarm due to a faulty alarm system.

1540  Acomb

Crews from Acomb responded to smoke and flames from electrical circuit under a manhole cover.  Crews extinguished the fire and incident was left with Northern Power Grid.
