17:10, Swans Way, Selby

A crew from Selby responded to reports of 3 youths stuck on the building of a roof. They used a triple extension ladder to assist the youths back to ground level.

17:50, A168 Thornton Le Street

A crew from Northallerton responded to reports of a 2 vehicle road traffic collision, involving a van and a motorcycle. All occupants of the van were out on arrival. The female driver of the motorcycle was in the care of the ambulance service, suffering a potentially broken leg, thought to be travelling to hospital via road ambulance. Crews used the environmental pack to clear the fuel leak.

18:24, Low Road, Thirkleby 

A crew from Thirsk responded to reports of a fire in the open. They located a small manure heap on fire and made contact with the land owner who will supervise the burning until it has naturally extinguished.

19:15 – Bilton Drive, Harrogate

Crews from Harrogate responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm cause by cooking fumes.

21:56 – Heslington, York

York crew responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

23:38 – High Street, Tadcaster

Tadcaster crews responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at an industrial premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

00:09 – Station Lane, Shipton by Beningbrough

Crews from Acomb responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

00:37 – North Street, Wetherby

Both Tadcaster appliances were requested into West Yorkshire due to a smell of burning in a commercial premises. This resulted in a false alarm after inspections took place by crews. The incident was left with West Yorkshire fire and rescue.

01:18 – West Lutton, Malton

Crews from Malton responded to reports of a car well alight and abandoned. The car fire was extinguished using one hose reel jet, one breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera. The police were informed due to a suspected stolen vehicle.

01:41 – Roman Road, Leeming

Crews from Bedale responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at an industrial premises. This was a false alarm.

02:22 – Kirkham Avenue, York

Crews from York assisted a male who had become trapped in a property due to a faulty internal door. Crews used crewpower to release the male.

04:26, Snaygill Industrial Estate, Skipton

A crew from Skipton responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm.

06:45, Tower Street, York

A crew from York responded to reports of a fire in the open. This was a controlled burn under supervision.
