Incident Summary – Saturday Nightshift, 29th June 2024

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Time: 18:26       Location: Northallerton

A crew from Northallerton responded to an automated message requesting fire attendance. On arrival crew located the phone that made the call and established this was a pocket dial. No assistance required. Advice given.

Time: 00:21        Location: Skipton

A crew from Skipton were mobilised to reports of a large fire in a car park. On arrival this was found to be a controlled burn under supervision.

Time: 06:55        Location: Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate assisted ambulance with a difficult extrication of a patient from a residential property. Crew power used.

During the night crews from Scarborough, Bedale (x2), York, Whitby and Hawes also attended automatic fire alarm activations. These resulted in false alarms.
