To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Ouse Bank, Selby – 10:48

Crews from Selby responded to a small rubbish fire inside a derelict building. Crews extinguished the fire using a bucket of water.

Mallinson Oval – 13:06

Harrogate crews responded to an alarm sounding in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to the alarm with no signs of smoke or fire.

York Road, Barlby – 13:32

Selby crews responded to calls of a vehicle smoking next to a residential property. This was a false alarm due to an overheated engine.

Water End, York – 14:12

Crews from Acomb attended a child stuck in a tree. Crews brought the child down to safety using working at height equipment and a triple extension ladder.
