Incident Summary – Day shift, Sunday 23rd June

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred. 

 

Time: 0835   Location: Malton

Malton crew attended a single vehicle road traffic collision. No persons trapped. Crews assisted with general scene safety then left incident with Police.

Time: 1102   Location: Ingleton

Crews attended a single vehicle road traffic collision. No persons trapped. Crews assisted with general scene safety and relocated vehicle from main carriageway. Incident left with Police.

Time: 1121   Location: Herdsman Road, York

Acomb crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

Time: 1212   Location: Filey

Filey attended an automatic fire alarm activation. On arrival and following investigation, crew confirmed this to be a false alarm.

Time: 1333   Location: Dunnington

York, Acomb and Tadcaster crews attended a multiple vehicle road traffic collision. Crews assisted with releasing one casualty from one of the vehicles. Hydraulic cutting equipment used. General scene safety carried out before leaving the scene with Police and Ambulance.

Time: 1527   Location: Skipton

Skipton attended and released one person from inside a defective lift. Lift keys used to release person, unharmed.
