Incident Summary – Saturday 15th June – Night Shift

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

17:30 – Hutton Rudby, Stokesley

Crews from Stokesley responded to reports of a car on fire. Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. The cause was deliberate and the incident was left in the hands of police.

18:21 – A19 Northbound, Knayton to Jeater Houses

Crews from Thirsk and Northallerton responded to reports of a campervan on fire in the central reservation. This resulted in a false alarm and the incident was left in hands of Police in attendance.

21:52 – Moss Street, York

Crews from York responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

22:10 – Kimberlow Lane, Heslington

Acomb crews responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

22:19 – High Street, Gilling West

Crews from Richmond, Colburn and neighbouring brigade Darlington responded to reports of a house fire. Crews extinguished the fire using four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one main jet, a thermal imaging camera, small tools and a triple extension ladder. The cause was accidental and there were no injuries involved.

00:08 – Lichfield Grove, Harrogate

Crews from Harrogate responded to reports of a dog with his head stuck in a metal gate. The crew released the dog by cutting the gate with bolt croppers.

00:18 – Potto, Stokesley

Crews from Stokesley assisted paramedics with casualty care into a road ambulance. Crewpower was used.

01:29 – Oakdale Rise, Harrogate

Crew were mobilised to 2 seperate bin fires in a an alleyway. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel and a bucket of water.

02:52 – New Earswick

Crew assisted Police to gain entry to a premises using small tools.
