17:46, Boroughbridge

A crew from Ripon responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm, cause by cooking fumes, which had produced some smoke. Crews ventilated the property.

18:24, Gillamoor Avenue, York

A crew from York responded to reports of a fire in the open. This was a grass fire, measuring 4m by 2m, and was extinguished using one hose reel jet. The cause was unknown.

19:52, Ripon Road, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate, responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.

20:31, High Street, Knaresborough

A crew from Knaresborough came across a male in his 50s, laid in the street, with a severe cut to his mouth. Crews carried out checks on the male, before paramedics arrived and took him to hospital via road ambulance.

20:44, Blands Hill, Knaresborough

Crews from Knaresborough and Harrogate, along with swift water rescue units from Richmond, Skipton and Selby, responded to reports of a female, aged approximately 20s, in the river up to her knees. The female self rescued and no fire service action was required.

20:51, St James Green, Thirsk

Crews from Thirsk and Boroughbridge responded to reports of a dishwasher on fire, in the kitchen of an annex.The fire started due to an electrical fault. Crews removed dishwasher from building and extinguished it using a hose reel and breathing apparatus.

21:31, Acomb Wood Close, York

A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a fire in the woodland at the rear of a property.On arrival crew confirmed a small fire to the rear of a garden fence, they used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

21:35, Newland, Drax

A crew from Selby, alongside the Goole crew from Humberside, responded to reports of  a fire in a field.On arrival crew confirmed that 20m of hedgerow was on fire. One hose reel was used by crews to extinguish the fire.

22:09 Stirling Road, York

York crews assisted Police in gaining access to some keys that had been thrown onto a high roof. The keys were to a motorcycle that had been stolen. Crews used a 9m ladder to retrieve the keys.

22:17 Acomb

A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding at a care home. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

22:33 Minskip

Knaresborough crew responded to reports of a fire sighted in a field.On arrival crews investigated and confirmed this was a bonfire under good supervision.

23:24 South Beach, Scarborough

Scarborough crews were mobilised to investigate reports of a small sighted on the beach near a wooden hut.On arrival crew confirmed this was a disposable bbq that was out on arrival.

00:26 Brompton by Sawdon 

A crew from Sherburn responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding at a school. This was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.

01:14 Glusburn

Skipton crew responded to reports of a car fire. Crews extinguished car fire using 2 hose reel jet, 2 breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and foam. The cause was believed deliberate.

York, Acomb, Selby and Malton crews responded to assist a female in the River Ouse. York crews used a throw line to pull female in to bankside. Female was then treated by paramedics and police at the scene.

A crew from Helmsley responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm, caused by faulty apparatus.

03:50, Nether Poppleton, Acomb

Crews from Acomb and Tadcaster responded to an incident. Upon arrival, crews found this to be a false alarm with good intent, and no fire service action was required.

04:15, Lady Ediths Drive, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm caused by defective equipment.

04:29, Norton, Malton

A crew from Malton responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm, with an unknown cause.

05:21, Askham Bryan, York

A crew from Acombresponded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm caused by dust from pigeons.

05:35, Lady Ediths Drive, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm caused by defective equipment.
