Incident Summary – Night Shift, Saturday 25th May

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Acomb Road, York – 18:11

Crews from Acomb and York responded to reports of smoke inside a residential property near to Acomb Road, this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Boroughbridge Road, Bridge Hewick – 19:05

Boroughbridge crews assisted police with making the scene of a 2 vehicle road traffic collision safe. All persons were out on arrival and in hands of Ambulance, Fire crews made vehicles safe and cleared fuel leakage using drizzit pads.

Fewster Way, York – 20:00

York crews responded to 1 person stuck in a lift at a residential property. ! male was released using small tools and lift keys.

Kings Road, Harrogate – 20:05

Harrogate crews responded to 4 persons trapped in a lift at a commercial property. All persons were out on arrival and no action required by crews.

York, Reeth and Harrogate crews also responded to automatic alarm activations during the night. These were false alarms.
