Crews from York attended reports of flooding inside a residential property. Crews discovered the leak to have been caused by burst pipe in the bathroom.The water leak was isolated by crews aswell as the electricity for precaution. Advice was given to the occupant to contact a plumber.
Time: 10:49 Location: High Bentham
Crews from Hawes attended reports of an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential property in High Bentham. Upon investigation this was discovered to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes, advice was given to the occupant.
Time: 14:02 Location: Settle
Crews from Skipton attended reports of an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential property. This was discovered to be a false alarm due to water egress from the detector head. Advice was given to a responsible person.
Time: 14:40 Location: York
Crews from Acomb attended reports of an automatic fire alarm activation. This was confirmed to be a false alarm due to smoke from an oven.
Time: 15:44 Location: Huntington
Crews from York and Acomb attended reports of smoke coming from a residential property. Upon arrival of crews this was discovered to be a controlled burn under supervision of a responsible person, advice was given.
