0952  Bishop Monkton, Ripon 

An officer assisted in releasing a young deer which had become stuck between the railings of a metal fence.  Deer released unharmed.

1152  Austwick, Settle 

Crews from Bentham, Grassington, Ripon and Lancashire attended reports of a light aircraft overturned in a field near Austwick. The occupant of the aircraft was out on arrival and sustained only minor injuries.  Fire crews stood by at the scene and liaised with other agencies, no other action was taken by the fire service.

1301  Princess Road, Malton 

Crews from Malton attended an automatic fire alarm sounding in a premises, this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

1322  Wheatfield Lane, Haxby 

Crews from Acomb attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential property, on arrival there had been a small fire in the kitchen which was out on arrival.  This was caused by a tea towel left unattended.   Crews carried out an inspection and gave advice.

1439  Selby Fire Station

Crews on Station carried out a ring removal from a female using ring cutters.
