07:09 – Shambles, York

Crews from York and Acomb responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

11:01 – Leeming Lane, Leeming

Crews from Northallerton responded to reports of a fire in a field. This resulted in a false alarm due to controlled burning under supervision.

13:53 – Church Street, York

Crews from York responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm due to a system fault.

14:45 – Bank Newton, Skipton

Crews from Skipton and neighbouring brigade appliance Barnsoldswick responded to reports of a straw heap on fire close to an agricultural building. The haystack measuring 30m x 10m was extinguished by crews using 3 large jets and breathing apparatus.

15:05 – Portholme Road, Selby

Crews from Selby responded to reports of a child accidentally locked inside a vehicle. The child was released prior to our arrival and safely reunited with the parent.

15:24 – Westfield Way, Norton

Crews from Malton responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

16:04 – Haxby Road, York

Crews from York responded to two persons stuck in a lift. Crews released the two persons using lift keys and small tools.

16:06 – Haxby Road, York

Crews from Acomb, Huntington, Selby and Malton responded to reports of a female trapped on unstable muddy ground. The female was rescued by crews using crewpower.

16:07 – Roughaw Close, Skipton

Crews from Settle responded to concerns of a hazardous smell inside a residential premises. The investigation is still being carried out by crews.

16:08 – Market Place, Pickering

Crews from Pickering responded to reports of a fire behind a commercial premises. This resulted in a small controlled burn under supervision. Advice was given.

16:50 – Eastfield, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

16:54 – A63, Lumby

Crews from Selby, Tadcaster and neighbouring appliance Garforth responded to reports of a HGV overturned with a male driver trapped. Crews arrived on scene to find the male out of the vehicle with an arm injury and Police in attendance. The incident was left with Police and oncoming Ambulance.
