Incident Summary Day Shift Tuesday 30th April 2024

08:55 – Harrogate

Crew from Harrogate assisted a person trapped in a lift after it broke down. Crew used lift keys to free the occupant and gave advice to responsible person to contact a lift engineer.

11:54 – Hovingham

Crew from Malton assisted after a female fell over and was unable to get back up. Crew power only to lift female who was left in care of her husband.

14:59 – A171, Ugthorpe

Crew from Whitby responded to reports of a 2 vehicle road traffic accident where a vehicle struck the side of a parked car. On arrival all occupants were out of their vehicles. Crew carried out scene safety only.

During the day crews from Scarborough and Acomb also responded to automatic fire alarm activation’s. These resulted in false alarms.
