Incident Summary – Day Shift, Friday 19th April

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Time: 13:39 Location: Eddlethorpe

Crews from Scarborough responded to an AGA oven smoking in the kitchen of a residential property.  The fire was out on arrival,with the oven isolated and crews gave advice and ventilated the property.

Time: 14:18  Location: Woodlea, York

Crews from Knaresborough responded to a fryer and battery fire inside an outhouse attached to a residential property. The fire was out on arrival, extinguished by a member of the public using a bucket of water. Crews inspected only and gave advice to the occupant.

Time: 14:52  Location: West Avenue, Filey

Crews from Filey responded to an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm due to testing.
