Fire Stations in the York area open their doors for Be Seen, Be Safe events

Yesterday Acomb, York and Huntington Fire Stations open their doors for the first day of their Be Safe, Be Seen events.
Visitors could receive helpful tips and advice about how to keep safe and seen during the winter months.
They were also able to have their bike security marked using the ‘Dot Peen Marking Machine’ which offers a permanent, forgery proof mark.
Bike lights and reflective accessories were also available.
BUT the best news is, it is all taking place again TODAY (Tuesday, 24 October) so pop along to any of the three stations mentioned above, between 3pm and 4pm or 7pm and 8pm.
