Are you interested or do you know a young person who might be interested in joining one of our young firefighter schemes?

Two of our schemes are looking for new people to join.

Would you like to learn to use specialist equipment including ladders, pumps and breathing apparatus? Learn about the fire service, use firefighting equipment and qualify for a Level 2 BTEC at the same time!

Northallerton Scheme

The two year scheme is open to all young people aged 13 to 16. It starts this September at Northallerton Fire Station, and will run from 6pm-8pm every Tuesday evening during term time.

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity! Registration for this course closes on 31st July.

Scarborough Scheme

The two year scheme is open to all young people aged 12 to 14. It starts this September at Scarborough fire station, and will run from 6:30pm-8:30pm every Tuesday evening during term time.

The closing date for applications is June 30th.

For further information and an application form, call in to Scarborough fire station on North Marine Road and pick up a form in person from Monday 3rd June.
