Incident Summary – Day Shift, Wednesday 14th August

To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Time: 07:55   Location:  York

The crew from York assisted Ambulance with the extraction of a patient from their home. The patient was left in the hands of paramedics.

Time: 08:43   Location: Selby

The crew from Selby responded to reports of a person stuck in a lift.  The person was safely out of the lift on arrival. Advice was given.

Time: 12:03   Location: Scarborough

The crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a road traffic collision where a vehicle had left the road and ignited. The driver of the car was taken to hospital.

Time: 14:33   Location:  Thirsk

Ripon crew responded to a garden hedge fire.  They used 2 hose reel jets to extinguish and dampen down the hedge.

Time: 16:41   Location:  Thirsk

Bedale crew responded to reports of a car on fire on the outskirts of Thirsk.  The fire was extinguished before the crews reached the scene.
