08:08, Acaster Malbis, York

A crew from York responded to reports of an elderly male, unable to get out of the bath. Crews assisted the male from the bath, uninjured.

08:21, Pickering

A first responder from Pickering responded to reports of a 78 year old female with chest pain, believed to be an angina attack. The first responder took observations before the arrival of paramedics.

10:22, Norht Marine Road, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a male who had fallen within in his property. The male was uninjured, and assisted back to a chair by the crew.

10:34, Etty Avenue, York

A crew from York responded to reports of a fire in a garden. This was controlled burning under supervision.

11:16, Malton Fire Station, Malton

A male self presented to the fire station, following advice from the hospital, to have a ring removed from his finger.

13:04, York Fire Station, York

A male self presented to the fire station, following advice from the hospital, to have a ring removed from his finger. This was successfully removed using electronic ring cutters.

13:12, Main Street, Helperby

A crew from Knaresborough responded to reports of an automatic fire alarm sounding, in a residential premises. This was confirmed to be a false alarm and was inspected by crew.

13:13, Scarborough Road, Filey

Crews from Filey and Scarborough responded to reports of a fire to a garden shed.On arrival crew confirmed fire had started in a garden shed and spread to fencing, plant pots , wheelie bins and also to a small part of windows of the property. Crews administered oxygen therapy to the occupier who was suffering from smoke inhalation. Crew extinguished the fire using a hose reel. The fire is believed to have been started by a blow torch used previously and accidentally placed back in the shed when it was too hot.

13:14, Thirsk

Crews from Northallerton and Thirsk responded to reports of a fire to a residential property. On arrival crew confirmed a small fire had occurred in the kitchen due to one of the dogs jumping up to the hob and switching it on, a plastic washing bowl was involved as was an air-fryer and steamer. Crews removed the bowl outside and switched off the hob. Smoke damage was reported in the property. Crew ventilated the property and assisted the occupier.

13:32, B6265 Hartlington

Crew from Grassington, Skipton and the incident support unit from Ripon, responded to reports of a road traffic collision involving one car and two motorcycles.Motorcycle had one male and one female both injured and taken to hospital by road Ambulance. Their injuries are believed to be non life threatening. Occupants of car, male driver self extricated. Female stayed in car and was extricated by crews using stabilisation kit and hand tools. Both occupants of the car were taken to Hospital by road Ambulance. Their injuries were not life threatening.

15:54 Harrogate.

Harrogate crews attended a domestic smoke alarm activation. This was a false alarm due to a system fault.

16:12 Rainton

Ripon crews attended a fire involving a pile of manure in a yard. Crews used a hose reel jet and wildfire tools.  No danger to property or surrounding vegetation.

16:34 Chatsworth Grove, Harrogate

Harrogate crews responded to reports of a smoke alarm activation in an empty residential property. This was a low battery on a carbon monoxide alarm. Advice given to neighbours.
