A crew from Acomb responded to an automatic fire alarm activation at a retail premise. This was a false alarm caused by staff working on site.

A crew from Acomb responded to an automatic fire alarm activation at a domestic property. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

One of our first responders responded to a male casualty at home with chest pains. The casualty was monitored until the arrival of paramedics who then transported the male to hospital via road ambulance.
02:40 – Leeman Road, York
Crews from York responded to reports of a male trapped in a bathroom due to a faulty internal door. Crews used small tools to gain access and release the male.
02:51 – Blenheim Terrace, Scarborough
Crews from Scarborough assisted paramedics on scene to access a residential premises in order to reach a female casualty. Small tools were used.

Whitby responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial premises. This resulted in a false alarm.
