19:09, Kingsway North, York

A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a sofa on fire in a garden, which had been left unattended. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which was caused deliberately.

19:09, Pannal, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to reports of a road traffic collision where one car had impacted a garden wall. All occupants were out on arrival of crews. Crews isolated the battery.

20:48, Primrose Valley Road, Primrose Valley

Filey crew responded to a 999 call stating black smoke seen behind a building. This was found to be supervised controlled burning. No action by Fire Service.

21:33, Sawmill Lane, Helmsley

Helmsley crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation which proved to be a false alarm due to a system fault.

21:57, Danesmead Close, York

York crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation which proved to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

22:02, Richmondshire Walk, Catterick Garrison

Colburn and Richmond crews responded to smoke coming from a petrol station. This was found to be cosmetic smoke set off within the premises due to an accidental activation of an intruder alarm.

02:39, Fulford Road, York

York crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation which proved to be as a result of a bin fire within a flat with the cause being through careless disposal of smoking materials. Advice given to resident.

04:39, Leathley Lane, Leathley

Harrogate crew responded to a request from Police to stabilise an abandoned car in a hedge near a river. Incident then left with Police to carry out further investigations.
