Incident Summary – Day shift 24th May 2024

06:52 Station Road, York 
Crews from York and Acomb responded to a report of a single vehicle RTC in which the vehicle landed on its roof. All occupants of the vehicle were out and in the care of ambulance crews. Crews righted the vehicle and made the scene safe.

08:03 Wigginton Road, York 
A crew from York responded to a report of an alarm activation at a residential premises. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

12:03 Yarm Lane, Great Ayton 
Crews from Stokesley along with a crew from Coulby Newham responded to a report of a fire in a commercial property. Crews ventilated the property and stood by whilst technicians checked the fuse box for solar panels and found one fuse had blown. Crews handed the incident over to National grid technician and property manager.

12:52 Wigginton Road, York 
A crew from York responded to a report of an alarm activation at a residential premises. This was a false alarm due to an accidental activation of a break glass point.

13:32 Cliff Bridge Terrace, Scarborough 
Crews from Scarborough along with the aerial ladder platform responded to a report of a female on the wrong side of bridge railings. Crews liaised with police on scene and tried to engage with the female. The female was brought down to the ground using the ALP and left in the care of police officers.

16:41 Wetherby Road, Boroughbridge 
A crew from Boroughbridge responded to a report of fire seen in the open. On arrival crews found this to be a false alarm due to controlled burning.
