Incident Summary – Day Shift, Friday 3th May
To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.
Time: 10:19 Location: Harrogate
Crews from Harrogate assisted the ambulance service in gaining entry into a property to reach an occupant. Crews were able to gain access and the occupant was left in the care of paramedics on scene.
Time: 11:39 Location: York
Crews from York attended reports of an automatic fire alarm at a residential property. Upon further investigation of crews, this was discovered to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes. Advice was given to the occupants.
Time: 12:01 Location: Carlton
Crews from Selby and a bordering brigade appliance from Snaithe attended an incident involving a fire to an industrial building measuring 15 metres by 10 metres. The fire was extinguished using 1 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet. The ambulace service were requested for precaution to check over a male suffering from smoke inhilation.

Crews from Northallerton attended reports of an automatic fire alarm at a property. Following further investigation, crews discovered this to be a false alarm due to cooking fumes. Crews went on to give advice to the occupant and carry out a home safety visit.
Time: 14:29 Location: A168, Thirsk
Crews from Thirsk, Ripon and Boroughbridge attended reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision. The occupant was assisted out of the vehicle by ambulance personnel prior to the arrival of fire service and left in the care of paramedics. Crews went on to carry out scene safety.
