Richmond crew extinguished a fire in a wooded area started deliberately by youths. Police also informed.

20:46 Norton

Malton fire crew responded to a water leak in an elderly couple’s premises. Fire crew isolated electrics and gave advice to occupiers.

02:40 Lendal Bridge, York

Ambulance requested Fire assistance after receiving a call from a female restraining a male on Lendal Bridge. On arrival, no persons were present. In a nearby street, Police had one male in custody.

In addition Automatic Fire alarms activated in York and Harrogate x2. Crews attended and investigated. All confirmed as false alarms.
